Das Duo Black Pistol Fire kommt ursprünglich aus Toronto und spielt eine energiereiche Mischung aus Southern- und Garage-Rock. Die zwei Mann starke Formation besteht aus Kevin McKeown und Eric Owen. Am 15. Februar bringen sie auf Rifle Bird Records ihr Debütalbum raus. Sie selbst bezeichnen ihre Musik als Dirty Southern Rock and Roll.
