Auf ihrem Album vereint die 2005 in Oklahoma gegründete Psych-Folk-Band große Klangwände, melancholische Melodien, treibende Beats und monophone Soundstrukturen. Um all dies schwirrt die wunderbare, hauchzarte Stimme von Leadsänger Ryan Hendrix. "My ... Is Pink" bietet ein unglaublich großes Spektrum an psychedelisch angehauchten Songs, stilistisch zwischen den Flaming Lips, Brian Eno und The Polyphonic Spree. Die Band beruft sich zudem als Inspirationsquelle auf Isaac Newtons Theorie des Zusammenspiels von Farbe und Klang.
