Bleiben wir beim Indie und gehen zu einer weiteren Newcomerband. Diesmal vom Nachbar Amerika. The Brobecks ein Project des Sängers Dallon Weekes. die musik ist ein Gemisch aus George Gershwin, Beatles und Elvis Costello. Mit dabei u.a. Daren Robinson von Phantom Planet und Brian Karscig von Louis XIV.
Brobecks ist eine hommage an den Unbekannten in unserer Mitte. Die Brobecks wurden bereits mehrmals als vorband gebucht u.a. von Fall Out Boy, Cold War Kids, Phantom Planet oder Incubus. Diese Band ist nicht umsonst von City Weeklys als Indie Band of the Week gewählt worden. Schöne Songs fein arrangiert ohne zu dick aufzutragen oder zu zitieren.
